well, i guess it may be bittersweet but uh…summer’s winding down and we’ll all be able to see each other back on campus? oh well, live up the last few weeks of summer!!!

accomplishment of the day
i made cream cheese brownies and chocolate-dipped strawberries today (for the SK Alumnae Open House tomorrow). i made the brownies from scratch, and they are so rich and deeelish! i would give you all a piece through your computers if i could.
p.s. i do realize that 99% of my posts are about food. shut up

well, i was at jury duty all day today and it was one loooong day which concluded in me getting picked as a juror for a criminal case. this should be interesting…i can honestly say i’ve never been in this situation before…

i also discovered bubble tea at tealuxe. it was my first time having milk tea boba, because they had soymilk! yay for milk allergy-friendly :)

Fooding, Pt. 1
One of the reasons why I am so excited about summer is all the cooking I get to do! Now that I’m across the river, Trader Joe’s is in my backyard. And I have the kitchen facilities to do what I want at the house.

I lost my keys. I’m pretty sure that I hooked them onto my bag when I left, which means that they either got stolen in the NY subway, the NY-DC bus, the DC subway, or the streets of DC. My bike lock key was also on there, which means I have to figure out a way to unlock my bike when I get back. FML
